BRUSSELS (Belgium), July 04, 2019 – In collaboration with HTW Berlin Business School, Drive Sustainability developed a manual for automotive suppliers designed to provide support in completing a self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) on CSR/Sustainability topics.

The Supplier Handbook will be the reference point for automotive suppliers having been asked to complete an SAQ, or who would like to better understand the industry expectations as set out in the Guiding Principles.

The structure of the manual allows to successively delve into each SAQ section: Company management, Working conditions and human rights, Business ethics, Environment, Supplier management, and Responsible sourcing of raw materials.

Within each section the Handbook aims to:

• Clarify the origins of the requirements by pointing out the relevant international standards;
• Outline recommendations for actions suppliers can take and the tools they can use to ensure compliance in their operations;
• Highlight advantages of meeting the industry expectations.

The Supplier Handbook is available for download on the Drive Sustainability website.
