About the Stakeholder Dialogue
On 10 October 2023, Drive Sustainability will host a stakeholder event on strategic topics. The aim is to facilitate a constructive exchange and align Drive Sustainability’s direction between automotive companies, suppliers and stakeholders from the environmental, social and governmental domains. The stakeholder event also serves as a forum to report on partnership progress.
In 2020 Drive Sustainability launched its 2030 Strategy including topics like due diligence, resilience, and sustainable sourcing of raw materials for the automotive sector.
This stakeholder dialogue aims to:
(1) Update stakeholders on Drive Sustainability’s current work and progress against the 2030 Strategy.
(2) gather feedback for future work on due diligence, resilience and sustainable sourcing of raw materials across the supply chain.
Context
In today’s dynamic and unpredictable business environment, characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), Drive Sustainability recognizes the critical importance of due diligence, resilience, and sustainable sourcing of raw materials for the automotive sector. This new VUCA-world requires organizations to adapt and thrive amidst constant disruptions, changing consumer demands, and evolving regulations.
